Please visit again in December 2005. Sample Websites: Grrrlzines Network MISSION: To create a resource guide that provides a comprehensive list of feminist publications (online and print, including academic and non-academic journals, magazines, zines/e-zines, newsletters, newspapers, pamphlets, comics, etc.) in global perspective. Your task is to define what makes a certain publication "feminist" as it relates to issues of intersectionality, transnationality, and expanding ideas of "women's issues" (e.g. Can we categorize a publication that focuses on poverty and access to natural resources, rather than on sexual objectification in the media, as "feminist"? If so, how will you make the case for this inclusion?). Your meta-site must include a 500-word introduction, must provide annotated descriptions of each group listed, and must include hyperlinks to each online publication's website (and information on where print publications are available if they are not defunct). Visit the sample websites above to determine the kind of information that is expected on a web page and to decide on shifts needed in paradigms and ideologies (both in terms of content and design).
