Compose a brief essay (2-3 pages, typed and double-spaced) reflecting on these websites in terms of:
1. How the subject 'woman' is conceptualized.
2. How 'feminism' is defined.
3. How a 'global'-based feminist movement is expected to function.
4. How a 'feminist theory' can be developed to inform the 'praxis' of each organization.
5. How each organization offers similar and different points of convergence in the articulation of global feminism.

This essay must be turned in when we meet on the first day of class on Thursday, September 1, 2005 in LE-G3 (West Seminar Room of the Science Library, ground floor), 4:15-7:05 pm.
