Postdoctoral Positions Available

Two research positions for Postdoctoral Associate or Visiting Scientist in the Department of Biological Sciences, State University of New York-Albany (SUNY-Albany) are available to study molecular properties and functional roles of cardiac potassium channels.

Highly motivated candidates with strong backgrounds in cellular electrophysiology (patch-clamp techniques) or mouse genetics (generation of knockout mice) are encouraged to apply. All applicants must hold a Ph.D. and/or MD degree in physiology, pharmacology, molecular biology or related field from a college or university accredited by a US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization. Preferred candidates will have experience in cardiac physiology.
