OUR MISSION
During this century, changing land use patterns will be a major cause of biological extinctions. The survival of many species, including our own, depends on our ability to use land sustainably.
The work of this laboratory is dedicated to the preservation of biodiversity and ecosystem functionality in human-dominated landscapes through scientific and policy research, education and community involvement.
