OUR MISSION

During this century, changing land use patterns will be a major cause of extinction. With 51% of the people on Earth living in urban environments, urbanization will be a leading driver of changes in biodiversity and ecosystem function.

The work of this laboratory is dedicated to the preservation of biodiversity and ecosystem function on urbanizing landscapes through scientific and policy research, education and community involvement.
