Follow these simple steps to print:

First, make sure that your color settings are appropriate in Photoshop. You should be working in Adobe RGB (1998) mode. Photoshop should inform you when there is a mismatched profile, this is when to correct it.

Next, make sure that you have correctly sized your print to accomodate the paper you plan to print on. Choose Print with Preview under the file heading.

Once you have done this, your image should fit correctly into the preview window.

Choosing Page Setup will allow you to choose the correct paper size, or create your own custom paper size.

Choose the Print Space Profile that corresponds to the printer you are using, and the media you are printing on. For example, if you are using the Epson Stylus Pro 4000 with Velvet Fine Art paper, you should select the Pro4000 Velvet Fine Art profile.

Click Print.

A print dialog window will appear. Make sure that you have the correct printer chosen, and that you have correctly chosen roll or sheet paper. Then select print setting from the dropdown menu. Here you should choose the media you will be printing on. Also, change the quality option to advanced. Here you can choose the printer resolution. It is a good idea to uncheck the high speed printing option.

Next, select color management from the dropdown menu, select no color adjustment.

Confirm that your paper is loaded properly and the printer LCD readout says "READY".

Click Print.
