This site was created by Dr. William Calvin (a neurophysiologist) and

Dr. George Ojemann (a neurosurgeon) of the University of

Washington. The site describes brain function in the context of the

recovery of Neil, a patient who underwent neurosurgery. The individual

chapters deal with topics ranging from mapping the cortex, memory,

vision, and attention. In chapter 2, the authors use Neil's case to

provide a discussion of the topic of consciousness from a

neurophysiological view. The chapter graphics are well done.
