Born Syracuse, New York 1942. Attended Syracuse University (Fine Arts
Concentration program) graduating in 1964 (Bachelor of Arts).
 
Attended Episcopal Theological School (now Episcopal Divinity School)
Cambridge, Massachusetts, graduating in 1968 (Master of Divinity).
 
Served as rector of two small parishes in far northern New York 1968-1972.
Came to Ithaca, New York area as rector of three parishes 1972; decided to
become "worker-priest" in 1980, retaining rectorship of St. Thomas',
Slaterville Springs and doing pipe organ repair/maintenance/research
full-time.
 
Special organ-related interests: historic instruments, restorations,
reversal of regretted alterations, research. Other interests: many forms of
music, birds & other wildlife, poetry, food and wine, architecture.
