Internship Program

After you have read the books and taken the classes – take a leap into the world:

English Internship Program: English 490

What you get:

10-15 hours a week of hands-on experience in a field related to English
professional use of your English skills in reading, writing, speaking and critical thinking

• 3 credit hours (Pass/Fail)
• a boost to your resume
• professional contacts in the field and networking opportunities

What you need to do:

• Be a junior or senior English major
• Have a 3.0 GPA in English, 2.5 overall
• Apply!

• Internship program application
• Midterm evaluation (completed by evaluators)
• Student's midterm evaluation (completed by student)
• Faculty recommendation forms
