Honors Application
Applications are accepted beginning in October.
The English Honors Program is designed for English majors who would like to do advanced, original work culminating in an honors thesis (40-60 pages) in their senior year. For admission, students should have completed 12 credits in English, including Eng. 205Z, 210 and one 300-level course. They should have an overall average of at least 3.25 and 3.5 in English. Students admitted to the program are encouraged to take the junior honors seminar (ENG 399Z) in the Spring semester preceding the thesis year.
To apply for 2011-2012 academic year: Fill out this form and include an essay you consider some of your best work. Applications are accepted from October 1 through April 15. Rolling admissions will begin in November and will continue through the end of the Spring semester.
