2016 Recognition Ceremony for English and Medieval & Renaissance Studies Majors
Date: Saturday, May 14
Time: 2:30 p.m. (ceremony lasts approximately 90 minutes)
(participants need to be there by 2:00 to sign in and line up)
Location: Campus Center Ballroom, UAlbany Campus
Attire: Students may opt to wear cap and gown or business attire.
Invitations: Once you have been approved for graduation by the Registrar's office you are automatically added to the department’s invitation list for the Recognition Ceremony. Formal letters of invitation will be mailed to both students and family shortly. In the meantime, click here for the answers to some FAQs (forthcoming).
Tickets: Students may reserve up to 5 tickets, and request additional for our waiting list.
Ticket Reservation Form & Instructions
Students who completed their degree requirements in December 2015 or who will do so during summer or fall 2016, and who wish to participate in the May 2016 Recognition Ceremony, must complete this FORM and return it to the English Advisement Office in HU381 by Monday, April 19. We need the forms so we know to whom we should send invitations and who to included in the event program.
