2017 Humanities Recognition Ceremony for English and Medieval & Renaissance Studies Majors
Date: Saturday, May 20
Time: 2:00-4:00 p.m. (ceremony lasts approximately 90 minutes)
(participants need to be there by 1:15 to sign in and line up)
Location: Gymnasium, Physical Education Building, Athletic Complex
Attire: Students may choose to wear cap and gown or business attire.
Invitations: Once you have been approved for graduation by the Registrar's office you are automatically added to the department’s invitation list for the Recognition Ceremony. Formal letters of invitation will be mailed to both students and family shortly. In the meantime, click here for the answers to some FAQs (forthcoming).
Tickets: We are not requiring tickets. We have figured 10 guests or fewer for each participant.
Students who completed their degree requirements in December 2016 or who will do so during summer 2017, and who wish to participate in the May 2017 Recognition Ceremony, must complete this FORM and return it to the English Advisement Office in HU381 by Monday, April 24. We need the forms so we know to whom we should send invitations and who to included in the event program.
