Mission:
The Office of Code Administration will provide the University community with expeditious, quality construction and building code support for the maintenance and growth of a fast changing, safety conscious university environment. The Office will not relent until administration of codes and safety initiatives become second nature to construction project managers.


Building Code Management

The Office of Code Administration (within the Environmental Health & Safety unit) issues construction permits. Prior to occupancy, periodic inspections and issuance of a certificate of compliance are performed by the Office of Code Administration. Activities of this program include:

• Identifying Permitting Agency
• Application for Construction Permit
• Issuance of Construction Permit
• Issuance Of Certificate Of Compliance
• Reporting Permit Activity
