In addition to the general University requirements for admission to graduate study, for admission to graduate work without deficiencies, candidates must present a minimum of 12 credits of undergraduate coursework in psychology, educational psychology, education, or related fields. |

A. 3.0 cumulative average in the last 60 hours of undergraduate course work. |

A 3.5 cumulative average in 9 hours of graduate study taken before admission. |

Acceptable scores on the Graduate Record Exam. |

Three letters of recommendation from instructors or professors familiar with the applicant’s academic work and/or previous research. |

Personal Statement: A well-written essay that reflects the applicant’s knowledge of and interest in educational research, and reveals a match between the applicant’s stated goals and the program offerings. |

TOEFL scores: A minimum of 213 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language is required for international students whose primary language is not English. |
