FUTURE EDUCATORS' CLUB

Spring 2007: Members of the Future Educators' Club particpated in an Alternative Spring Break Week for Habitat for Humanity

The Future Educators' Club is a pre-professional club for UAlbany graduate and undergraduate students interested in exploring a variety of career options in the field of education, including but not limited to: teaching at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels, educational administration, educational theory and practice, special education, career counseling, guidance counseling, school psychology and vocational training.

The Club's goals are:

1) To provide opportunities through which students can
explore and pursue careers in education,
2) To facilitate members' access to role models in education,
3) To allow students with similar career goals to network
with and support one another, and
4) to offer members fun and interesting activities compatible
    with these goals.

The Club meets regularly each semester. Meeting times/days are posted on FEC's website, fliers and announced via e-mail. To add your name to the club list-serve, contact the club : fec@albany.edu.
