Orientation Events

You must RSVP to these events, as space is limited. All of the above sessions last 45 minutes. Please contact Heidi Audino at haudino@albany.edu to RSVP.

Campus Tours: These tours will be offered by University tour guides. Stops will include the Campus Center, bookstore, classrooms, food court, and other areas around the Campus.

Library Tours: The University Library will be offering a tour of the facilities and resources geared towards School of Education students’ needs. These tours will provide an overview of the library resources, online references, and curriculum library. Tours begin in the library lobby. Space is limited.

Teacher Certification Workshop: For those pursuing initial or professional teacher certification, we will hold an informational session to help individuals understand the certification options associated with each MS degree, and the process for receiving the certification (e.g., tests, fingerprinting, applying for certification).

Graduate Student Panel: For those who are interested in meeting with current School of Education graduate students, we will offer a graduate student panel discussion. New students will be able to listen to and ask questions of graduate students across the different departments that are part of the School of Education.
