    Join us at a reception for School of Education graduates and their families immediately following the University's graduate commencement ceremony in the Alumni House. Alumni House is walkable from the SEFCU Arena but a shuttle will also be available.

    Albany, NY (March 16, 2015) - Dr. Pamela V. Agan-Smith, a graduate of the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology, was named 2015 School Psychologist of the Year by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

  • Levy Awarded Grant to Study Adolescent Political Engagement and Tolerance

    Albany, NY (March 11, 2015) – Dr. Brett Levy, assistant professor in Educational Theory and Practice, has been awarded a grant from the McCormick Foundation for his project, "A Closer View of a Catch-22: An Exploration of Adolescents’ Development of Political Engagement and Political Tolerance through an Innovative Curriculum."

    Bianchi Named 2015 Fellow on Women & Public Policy

    Albany, NY (January 26, 2015) - Michelle Feder Bianchi, doctoral student in EAPS, is a 2015 Fellow on Women & Public Policy. Sponsored by the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society, the fellowship is a prestigious leadership development program designed to maximize skills and contributions for excellence in public service. Michelle’s fellowship placement is in the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
