The University at Albany School of Education Dean's Office invites 2007-2008 graduates and alumni to attend the Hudson Mohawk Education Expo 2008 which will take place on April 3, 2008 at the Empire State Convention Center in Albany. The Education Expo is an opportunity for school district personnel to interview faculty and non-faculty candidates for job openings. In previous years, representatives from local, statewide, and national school districts have attended this event to interview job candidates. In 2008, district recruiters will be interviewing for a wide range of positions including classroom teachers, special educators, literacy specialists, principals, asst. principals, school counselors, school psychologists, and library media specialists.
All University at Albany current students and graduates are invited to attend the event. Please make sure you sign-in at the University at Albany table when you arrive. Your goal for this event should be to give your resume to school districts and network with recruiters. Some districts will participate in interviews, while other districts simply collect resumes and engage in short conversations with possible candidates. Please make sure to bring many copies of your resume.
The Pre-selection resume deadline is Thursday, March 13
