Department of Educational & Counseling Psychology

The Department of Educational & Counseling Psychology is a multidisciplinary endeavor devoted to research, teaching, and service in the use of psychological principles to promote lifelong growth, learning, and development in multiple life roles and contexts. Four disciplines are represented in the department:

• Counseling Psychology
• Educational Psychology & Methodology
• School Psychology
• Special Education

PORTUGAL CONFERENCE: October 25-26, 2012

The Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology is partnering with the Department of Educational, Developmental, and Counseling Psychology at the University of Coimbra in Portugal for our second joint conference in Coimbra, Portugal in October 2012.  The theme of the conference is Life Transitions: Contexts and Processes.  All faculty and students in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology are invited to attend.  Click here for more information about the conference and proposal submissions.
