Welcome to the Education Finance Research Consortium website.  The EFRC is an ongoing collaborative research and policy analysis venture between the New York State Education Department, the New York State Board of Regents, and education scholars, researchers, policy makers and educational institutions in New York State and around the country. The EFRC is based in the Center for Policy Research, a multidisciplinary research center at the University at Albany in Albany, New York.

Announcements

The EFRC is seeking to contract with researchers or research organizations to prepare condition reports on any of the following topics for New York State schools:

-  Leadership and sustainable improvement

-  Managing information to improve student outcomes

-  The supply and quality of early childhood education in New York State

-  The nature and effect of teaching disruptions

-  School district response to state and federal increases in education aid

Written questions, if any, are due by May 27, 2008.  The submission deadline for proposals is June 17, 2008.  Click here for a copy of the request for proposal (RFP).
