Welcome to the Education Finance Research Consortium website.  The EFRC is an ongoing collaborative research and policy analysis venture between the New York State Education Department, the New York State Board of Regents, and education scholars, researchers, policy makers and educational institutions in New York State and around the country. The EFRC is based in the Center for Policy Research, a multidisciplinary research center at the University at Albany in Albany, New York.

On Friday, October 23, 2009, the EFRC and the New York State Board of Regents presented three reports on K-12 education in New York State at the State Museum Theater of the Cultural Education Center in Albany, New York.
