The Economics Department Commencement Ceremony: Saturday, May 18, 2013

When and Where?

• Saturday May 18
• 3:00 p.m. (graduates should arrive by 2:30 p.m. to sign in).
• Campus Center Ballroom (second floor of Campus Center).

Who?

• All undergraduate Economics majors who expect to graduate in Spring or Summer 2013 are invited to attend, along with their family and friends.
• Students who are not official degree candidates for May 2013 should let the department know of their plans to attned, so that we can list your name in the program.
• No tickets are required.
• Students are expected to wear academic regalia.

What's Happening?

• Individual recognition of each graduate on the platform, and presentation of certificate.
• Guest Speaker: TBA
• A photo area will be available for graduates and their families to take pictures.
• A reception will follow, in the Terrace Lounge (first floor of the Campus Center).

What Else?

• A complimentary Family Picnic will be available on the Podium, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
• Torch Night Ceremonies begin at 8:30 p.m on the Podium.
• Univeristy-wide Undergraduate Degree-Conferral Ceremony, Sunday May 19, 10:00a.m., at the Entry Plaza at the top of Collins Circle. Graduates should arrive by 9:00 a.m. and assemble TBA. Participants must wear proper academic regalia. Guests should arrive by 9:30 a.m. - no ticket are required.
