Alum of the Week

Peter Smith graduated in 2004 with a double major in East Asian Studies (Honors) and Political Science. Having studied in Tokyo while an undergraduate, he knew he wanted to spend more time in Japan before heading for graduate school. Consequently, he applied for and received a fellowship from the Japanese Ministry of Education (Monbusho) for two years of graduate study in Japan. Now affiliated with Shiga University but doing independent research in Kyoto, Pete is getting ready to apply to graduate programs in the U.S. this coming year. |
