ANTHONY M. CRESSWELL (Ed.D. Columbia University) Professor Cresswell's current interests are in information systems and resources in organizations, and applications to developing countries. He has worked as a consultant in numerous educational, governmental, and research organizations and in educational development projects in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. He is also a labor arbitrator and mediator. He has written Education and Collective Bargaining (1976), Teachers, Unions and Collective Bargaining in Public Education (1980), and a number of chapters, papers, and research reports on these areas. Dr. Cresswell holds a joint appointment in the Information Science Ph.D. program, and has served on the faculties of Northwestern University, Carnegie-Mellon University, and as a faculty advisor in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. He is currently Research Director in the Center for Technology in Government.
