The New York State Employee Assistance Program is a joint labor/management program. The University at Albany's EAP is overseen by a volunteer committee of staff and faculty members from the various unions (CSEA, UUP, PEF, GSEU, NYSCOPBA, Council 82), management, and other employment groups (the Research Foundation, UAS, MC, the Albany Foundation) on campus. Representing the breadth of the University community, the Committee works in conjunction with the Coordinator to develop programs that meet the needs of the faculty and staff. Committee members also volunteer their time at EAP-sponsored events and help to promote EAP services and programs campus-wide.
EAP welcomes suggestions and feedback on its services and encourages University employees to provide input to the Coordinator or to any member of the EAP Committee.
NOTE: Currently, there are openings on the EAP Committee. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of the Co-Chairs for further information.
