Basic Environmental Health Program

Bureau of Community Environmental Health and Food Protection Programs (EH 107)

Prerequisite: completion of 2 field exercises:

1. High risk food service establishment
2. Swimming pool w/ lifeguard supervision
   
   This three day course covers:

• Overview of the Bureau of Community Environmental Health and Food Protection programs.

This course also has two field exercises to be completed before taking the course.

• EH 107 Field Exercise 1: Food Inspection
• EH 107 Field Exercise 2: Swimming Pool Inspection

First priority for this course is given to local and state health department personnel who are required to take the BEHP. Second priority is given to individuals registered for the Foundations of Public Health Practice certificate program. Other public health staff may register on a space-available basis.
