GIFTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY AND PLANNING HELP ATTRACT AND RETAIN DISTINGUISHED FACULTY, STRENGTHEN PROGRAMS, ENRICH OUR STUDENTS' ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE, AND ASSIST US IN OUR OUTREACH WORK TO THE REGIONAL COMMUNITY.

You can help us by contributing to the Department of Geography and Planning Development Fund and the Paul Marr Memorial Award Fund.

The Development Fund makes funds available as needed, to support material and equipment purchases, visits by guest speakers, and graduate student and faculty research and conference trips.

The Paul Marr Memorial Award Fund was created to provide an annual award to an oustanding graduate planning student. The principle of the account remains untouched; only the interest is utilized.

If you wish to assist the Department, please contact Rebecca Popp below and specify that you wish to target your contribution to one or both of the funds described above, OR contribute to us directly by sending a check to the Department. Make out the check to The University at Albany Foundation and specify the name of the account you wish to contribute to in the memo line of the check. Of course, all of your contributions are fully tax deductible.
