JAWS Software: Job Access With Speech or JAWS for short is produced by the Blind and Low Vision Group at Freedom Scientific, this software allows visually impaired users to access files by converting text into speech.
Kurzweil 3000: The Kurzweil 3000 software program assists in reading, writing and learning for students with learning disabilities. The process is done through a tiered system that assists the user to better understand the given material.
Franklin Spellmaster: The Spellmaster enables the user to double check their spelling in pocket-size form.
Quicktionary Reading Pens: The Quicktionary Reading Pen scans and translates written documents. The pen will define words that the reader is having difficulty understanding. In addition this product is roughly the size of a pen for ease of use and transportation.
AlphaSmart 3000: The AlphaSmart 3000 is a portable word processor that enables students who need assistance in typing a document. This product has a fully functioning keyboard as well as a LCD screen to read while typing.
Thunder Headphones: The Thunder Headphones allow users to cancel out surrounding noise that could serve a distraction. This are useful for individuals who desire a sound-neutral environment.
SARA (Scanning and Reading Appliance): SARA can scan and read any given documents, which can be used to convert into electronic texts. In addition the settings can be arranged to accommodate any given need for the user.
Dragon Dictate: Dragon Dictate enables the user to dictate to the computer that will convert spoken language into written text. This software is beneficial for users that are unable to type out a document.
Word Processors: In our testing facilities we have functioning computers that be used by students who need to type out essay examinations or assignments.
