Hudson Falls Central School District is a district that believes in ongoing training
and education in technology for their faculty and staff. Information literacy is a
necessary component of their district's technology plan. They feel that in order for their
teachers to educate students in this ever changing technology focused world, they need to
have these skills.
On this page, you will find a link for the training developed for the faculty and staff
at Hudson Falls High School. The training is entitled: Finding Credible Sources on the Web:
Learning to Search the NOVEL Databases. This training was given to faculty and staff, but
also to a select number of GEN Y students, who are then responsible for educating other
teachers on what they have learned.
This training will be available on this site for students and staff to access whenever they wish.
There are built-in pre and post assessment forms that accompany this training to evaluate what the
people participating in the training have learned.
