Biography

Ruirui Sun is a doctoral student of the Department of Educational Administration and Policy Studies, State University of New York, University at Albany and Doctoral Research Associate at PROPHE. She received her M.A. in Economics of Education from Peking University and B.A. in International Economics from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. During her the years of undergraduate and master studies, she participated actively in research programs, presented in conferences, published papers, and while worked as a student administrator.

Ruirui Sun currently continues her research interests in economic analysis and policy studies of post-secondary education and lifelong learning. Under her large research agenda, she is now focusing on researching 1) public policy and the private sector of higher education, 2) policy support and economic incentives for lifelong learning, and 3) the relationship between post-secondary learning patterns and labor market outcomes, in the U.S. and other countries, especially China, other Asian countries and OECD countries. Besides being Doctoral Research Associate at PROPHE, she is also working with Dr. Alan Wagner as Research and Teaching Assistant.
