Biography

Dr. Yingxia (Yisa) Cao (Ph.D. State Univ of New York at Albany) finished her Ph.D. dissertation on private higher education and the labor market through PROPHE in December 2007. Her disseration focuses on institutional management efforts and initial graduate employment outcomes. She studied at the Department of Educational Administration & Policy Studies of the State University of New York at Albany from 2000 to 2007 and worked mostly for PROPHE from 2000 to 2005. She is also alumna of Xiamen Univeirsity (MA, Institute of Higher Education) and Anhui Normal University (BA, Department of Education) in China. Yingxia is now the director of Office of Institutional Research at the University of La Verne (in Los Angeles), where she started as Research Analyst in 2005. She supervises and initiates research and assessment related to university accreditation, enrollment management, program review, course evaluations, and a variety of other issues relevant to students, faculty, courses, finance, and management.
