Biography

Maria Helena de Magalhães Castro is a full-time professor of the Department of Sociology at the Federal University in Rio de Janeiro, and member of the Coordinating Committee on Institutional Evaluation for the Brazilian National Council of Rectors (CRUB). She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University, 1993.
