Biography

Dr. Isaac N. Obasi, a staff of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, currently teaches Public Administration at the University of Botswana, in Southern Africa. He studied at the University of Ibadan, where he won the Sir Isaac Dina memorial Prize as the best Political Science student in Public Administration. He obtained his MSc and Ph.D degrees from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dr. Obasi earlier taught at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria (1982-1996) and served as the pioneer Programme Officer of the Social Science Academy of Nigeria (SSAN), Abuja (2001-2003). Among others, he has executed research projects funded by the Association of African Universities (AAU), Accra, Ghana; and The Partnership for Higher Education in Africa. He has published extensively among which is Research Methodology in Political Science (1999). Dr. Obasi is a regular columnist on higher education policy and management for the Daily Champion newspaper, Lagos, Nigeria.
