Description:Extensive decoration, mostly in circular motifs. On either side of jug, a Maltese cross surrounded by 4 concentric brown bands. This is encircled in turn by a broad red band followed by 4 additional concentric brown bands. Toward the top edge of these circles, a vertical motif consisting of a wavy line flanked by 4 roughly parallel vertical brown lines and 2 swastikas connects the inner motif to a sequence of even larger concentric circles. These are drawn around nearly the entire diameter of the jug on either side, and consist of a broad red band flanked by parallel concentric brown lines. The front of the jug is decorated with 2 1/2 large hatched lozenges flanked by swastikas. Rim and spout outlined in brown, actual strainer area painted red, flanked by a dotted circle on either side, representing eyes.
