Peace everyone my name is Marc David Callender. Currently I am in the process of completing my C.A.S in Curriculum Development at the University at Albany. Through out my life education has always been of extreme importance. My involvement with the Center for Urban Youth and Technology has helped me to achieve some of my personal goals. As a representative of the Center I have taken part in many initiatives that have helped to integrate technology and education. During my time with the center I have participated in projects with P.L.A.Y, the Science Technology Entry Program (S.T.E.P.) and Goals 2000. My interest in education deals primarily with the improvement of teachers through staff development programs. This past year I served as an instructional technology consultant for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It is my hope to improve the state of education through the proper implementation of technology programs. It is also my goal to introduce technology to individuals in our society who have historically been overlooked. Peace!
