IN-SERVICE TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM ON MULTI-MEDIA APPLICATIONS(1991 - 1994)

This training program focuses on the needs of teachers as they learn how to use the new technologies of networking, computers, laser disks, CD-ROM's, video, animation, graphics, multi-media applications. After an introduction to the field they discuss the use these technologies in their subject curriculum areas. Supported by the New York State Education Department, Community Schools Program.

Community Schools Technology Integration Project (CSTIP) worked with the State Education Department, Office of School Improvement. The project provided needs assessment of technology and professional development seminars for four community-based schools in the New York City area.
