Dayton Contemporary
Dance Company



Founded in 1968 by Artistic Director Jeraldyne Blunden, the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company repertoire has grown to include contemporary works by many well known choreographers entrenched in African-American history.  The works of George Faison, Talley Beatty, Donald Byrd, and Billy Wilson, among others has been performed in recent years.  Ms Blunden was the 1994 recipient of a MacArthur Foundation Fellow award.
