NORTHEASTERN ASSOCIATION OF THE BLIND (NABA)
Northeastern Association of the Blind is a not-for-profit Organization offering
a variety of volunteer opportunities for students interested in helping people
who are blind or visually impaired.
Volunteers may work one-on-one with persons who are blind and visually impaired
Assisting with computer needs
Becoming a reader(i.e.: reading books, documents or mail)
Helping with light shopping or errands
Providing friendly social visits
Voice recording documents
Volunteers may also assist staff with clerical duties, fund raising and special
Flexible schedules are available, including datytime, weekends and evening.
NABA provides excellent opportunities for students interested in public
relations, rehabilitation teaching and social welfare.
