LAW, ORDER AND JUSTICE CENTER (LOJ)
The LOJ is an independent community-based organization that advocates, develops,
educates and provides community justice, conflict resolution and supportive
family services to promote fairness and equality within Schenectady County.
Volunteer students will work in one of three departments performing daily
tasks including attending court proceedings, performing client intakes, reporting
and monitoring client progress and communications by phone and mail. Students who are majoring in social welfare, criminal justice and other majors might be interested in this opportunity.
