CAPITAL DISTRICT WOMEN'S BAR ASSOCIATION (CDWBA) LEGAL PROJECT, INC
Students interested in law, women's studies, psychology, social work and/or business might find this internship experience with the Legal Project both rewarding and educational. Many opportunities exist to participate in this woman-focused, not-for-profit organization as it grows and develops including: telephone intake of clients, data collection and analysis, program expansion, grant writing, marketing, public relations, general coordination and the development of a mechanism for attorney tracking of pro bono services. The organization offers several programs, each unique to the Capital District: "Domestic Violence Legal Connection," "Legal Assistance Program," "Legal Seminars," and "Professional Training Series."
