CRIME VICTIM AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE CENTER
The Crime Victim and Sexual violence Center provides support, advocacy, information,
referrals, crisis intervention and on-going therapy to victims of violent
crime who reside in Albany County. After attending training CPSP volunteers
will help provide 24-hour rape crisis hotline;. assistance for rape victims
at area hospitals, police stations and courts. Profesionnal therapists at
the Center offer free short-term counseling for sexual assault and other violent
their families and friends.
This Organization is an appropriate choice for students who are studying criminal
justice or social welfare.
