CAPITAL DISTRICT CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE
The Center provides the following services for persons with disabilities
and their families regardless of age or type of disability: information and referral; client assistance program; individual and group peer counseling; advocacy; benefits advisement; independent living skills training, consumer self directed personal assistance services program; community education & disability awareness programs; accessibility assistance; and housing information. CDCI, a disability rights organization, promotes the full inclusion of people with disabilities and encourages compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) through community education and advocacy
