  ALBANY CENTER GALLERIES

Albany Center Galleries is a non-profit art space dedicated to exhibiting the best contemporary art of the Mohawk Hudson region, and building a large, knowledgeable audience for the visual arts. We are a community-based and community supported organization. (Albany Center Galleries is supported by city, state, corporate and foundation funds, as well as fundraisers, individual donations and memberships.) Art and art history majors as well as students who are interested in management of an art gallery can assist the staff in the installation of exhibits, administrative duties, graphic design photography and receptions. Albany Center Galleries has exhibited original fine art in the city of Albany for nearly 30 years. It's mission is to support the work of serious regional artists and their emergence as a source of Contemporary American Art.
