To Buy or Not to Buy, To Kill or Not to Kill; An Attempt to Define a Research Question for PhD Thesis in Decision Science Area.
Navid Ghaffarzadegan
This is an attempt to define my thesis question(s) and to find appropriate methods, and data. I read a broad range of Group Decision Making literature in summer. It seems there are some generic limitations to make a proper decision in groups, which can be applied to a wide range of decision making situations in different organizations. Based on the studies, I developed a model of different approaches to decision making; discussing disagreements and interesting areas.
In the session, I will review some studies, and then discuss some potential ways to attack the broad question of Barriers of Proper Decision Making. Discussion will end up with an example of my proposed approach.
