LaRae Jome, Ph.D.

LARAE M. JOME (Ph.D. University of Akron). Dr. Jome joined the faculty in 1999 and is an associate professor of counseling psychology. Her research interests are in the areas of vocational psychology, career counseling, influence of gender and race on work, racial attitudes, and multicultural counseling and training. Her current projects focus on menís work transitions, unemployment and job searching, and career counseling practice. She teaches courses in career counseling, counseling ethics, and research design and supervises the clinical work of doctoral students. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York.
