Facility Availability

University at Albany Facilities are available for rental to external non-profit organizations. In order to rent one of our facilities for short term use, the University will issue a Revocable Permit.

State University guidelines generally prohibit the University from providing space to commercial organizations.

Facility Rental Fees

Campus venues set their own rental rates - please confer with the facility manager of the space you are interested in for information on current rental rates.

Classroom Rentals

• Classrooms $250/day
• Lecture Centers $500/day

5K Route/Exterior Event Fees & Policies

• Use of 5k route $250
• Parking lot $250/day
• All event support costs (Facilities, IT, security, etc. are in addition to above rates)
• The 5k route is open to outside organizations from the weekend following Spring Commencement through the week before students move in for the fall semester.  
• Event holders must provide portable restroom facilities for their participants.
• We regret that we are unable to provide an interior facility for fundraising event money handling.

Please Note:

• All revocable permits must be reviewed and approved by the University at Albany Controller.
• Revocable permits will only be considered if all accompanying documents, including the certificate of insurance, are included.
• Reservations will not be confirmed until a revocable permit has been issued.
• It is your responsibility to follow up to make sure that all materials have been received by the Controller's Office.
