A China Story:  Searching for a Missing War Correspondent during World War II

The symposium and exhibit will showcase the photos taken by a Chinese journalist Fang Dazeng, who was later called the "Chinese Robert Capa." Those photos documented life in China around 1937 and portrayed the violence of World War II with unique and profound impact. Fang Dazeng disappeared in 1937 but his work was unveiled by another Chinese journalist, Mr.Xuesong Feng, after undertaking an 18-year journey searching for Fang Dazeng, Mr.Xuesong Feng from Chinese CCTV will be invited to present.
