Summer 2014 schedule of classes available

Though registration doesn't begin until March 2014, the Summer Session 2014 schedule for the Department of Communication has been released. You can find it online or a pdf

Interested in majoring in Communication?

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2014 admission to the Communication major. To be considered, a student must take Com 100 and a logic/statistics class. Students who average a B between those 2 courses are automatically admitted. Details here.

 

 

 

 

Commencement '14

This year's department commencement ceremony will be held at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at SEFCU Arena for B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. students. No tickets are necessary. Students will be emailed with more information. Caps and gowns are expected and can be ordered through the campus bookstore.

Congratulations!

Ph.D. student Roger Gans' paper "The Politics of HPV Vaccination Advocacy: Effects of Source Expertise on Effectiveness of a Pro-Vaccine Message" was recognized as the top graduate student paper presented at the 71st annual NYSCA conference (Oct. 18-20).
