We are now accepting applications for Spring 2016 admission to the Communication major. To be considered, a student must take Com 100 and a logic/statistics class. Students who average a B between those 2 courses are automatically admitted. Details here.

Commencement '15

The Department of Communication congratulates 213 students earning Bachelor's Degrees and 9 students earning Master's Degrees (Fall 2014 and Spring 2105) at our Departmental Recognition Ceremony on May 16, 2015, at SEFCU Arena. Thank you to our guest speaker, NYC Council Member Ben Kallos '02, who is also an alum of our program. Alum talk: steps to make a career in TV

Steve GreensteinCOM alum Steve Greenstein '94, founder of Squad 47 Films, will speak about his experience getting into the TV business and what kinds of careers exist after graduation. The talk is Thursday, Oct. 8, 4:15-5:45 p.m. in HU 354. Reception to follow. Flyer

Sign up now for Spring '16 advisement

Advisement will be held the week of Oct. 12 prior to the start of Winter/Spring '16 registration on Oct. 21. COM majors and minors should sign up now for advisement.
