The following is a schedule of events for commencement weekend for undergraduate students. For detailed information about individual recognition ceremonies, please refer to the contact information listed for that particular event. Please note: though tickets are not required for the University-wide Undergraduate and Graduate Ceremonies, they may be required for some Individual Recognition Ceremonies. Please check with your individual school, college or department.
Sunday, May 18
University-Wide Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony - 10:00 a.m.
Location: The lawn directly behind the Science Library
The ceremony for the formal conferral of undergraduate degrees will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will last for approximately one hour. Candidates should arrive for assembly at the gymnasium in the Physical Education building at 9:00 a.m. Guests should plan to arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. The ceremony will be held outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Graduates and their families should designate a meeting location for after the ceremony.
Many of the individual school ceremonies/receptions that follow the undergraduate ceremony will be held at locations within a short walk of the library lawn. Please refer to the map provided to determine the location of the individual ceremony you plan to attend. University shuttles will be available for those who need rides back to their vehicles. There will be ample time to get to the individual recognition events following the undergraduate ceremony.
