The Young Scientist Speaker Program

For the Tenth Conversation, we have set aside 8 hrs of the symposium time unfilled. This time is exclusively devoted to speakers that we will select to address the Conversation from the abstracts submitted for poster presentation. We plan to select a large number of extraordinarily talented professionally young researchers to lecture this time. If you are interested to provide a lecture, you must indicate so in the attached pink registration form and in this case abstracts are due by the 15th of Feb. '97. In the past the Albany Conversation Program has been provided limited funds by NSF and NIH exclusively to support the participation by outstanding and excellent young scientists, and a few senior scientists from developing Nations. If we receive such funds for the Tenth Conversation, the program will be able to provide the above support. However, NSF and NIH will let us know about this only a few weeks before the commencement of the Tenth Conversation.
