No Page Charges
There are no page charges. Once a manuscript has been accepted by an Editor
as scientifically sound, the Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics
will publish the article at its expense. However, there may be charges for
certain special services. For example, a laboratory which has grant support
must pay the cost of color illustrations and halftone black and white photographic
work. For laboratories without grant support, the Journal will pay for
these services provided they are essential for the article. The charge
for halftones is $15.00 for normal halftones, and higher for combinations
such as bright lines and halftones. One page of color (8.5" x 11")
can usually accommodate about 4 color plates, and the cost for this is roughly
$1000.
