The Center for Latino, Latin American, and Caribbean Studies (CELAC), and the Institute for Research on Women (IROW) at the University at Albany, SUNY, the Centro de Investigación en Estudios de la Mujer (CIEM) at the University of Costa Rica, and the LASA Feminist and Gender Studies Section are cosponsoring a one-day Feminist Encuentro on Gender and Globalization in the Americas to be held at the University of Costa Rica on Tuesday, April 1, 2003.
