Introducing the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences

Welcome to the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Engineering can be described as “Science in Service to Society.” The College of Engineering and Applied Sciences is educating the next generation of innovators who will address problems of importance to society and build the national wealth. Starting from an existing core of strength in computational and information sciences and engineering, and identifying particular societal needs and opportunities in conjunction with colleagues across the university, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences produces graduates prepared for successful careers in industry, government, academia, and research.

We expect that the future home of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences will be located in the Schuyler Building on the downtown campus, as we continue to identify and develop new programs.
